From the bottom of our hearts, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made our inaugural Darwin Fashion Week such a memorable and magical event.

To our incredible designers, especially those who travelled from afar to showcase their collections in Northern Australia for the very first time thank you. Your creativity, passion, and bold vision lit up our runway and left an unforgettable impression.

A heartfelt thank you to our generous sponsors for believing in our mission, and to our charity donors whose contributions helped raise vital funds towards the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) your impact goes beyond fashion.

To our tireless volunteers, esteemed judges, our brilliant choreographer TALOSIA, and our stunning models, thank you for bringing the show to life with elegance, energy, and excellence.

We’re also grateful to our local Councillor Jimmy Bouhoris from the City of Darwin for your unwavering community support, it truly takes a village.

And finally, to our beautiful Northern Territory community, thank you for embracing us with open arms and for being part of this historic beginning.

Founder & Designers

We are four friends brought together by creativity, culture, and the sun-soaked streets of Darwin hailing from Chile, Colombia, Brazil, and Ecuador.

Our hearts carry the rhythms of South America, and our designs are a celebration of our roots blended with the laid-back, tropical spirit of the Top End.

Colorama was born from friendship, love for colour, and a shared dream to bring joyful, wearable art into everyday life.

Our collection is a reflection of what we love about Darwin its warmth, diversity, bold nature, and vibrant energy.

Each piece in this collection is a colourful treasure, designed to brighten any outfit and tell a story.

It’s about self expression, cultural fusion, and wearing pieces that make you feel alive.

We’re honoured to share our vision and passion on this runway, and invite you to feel the colour, spirit, and sunshine of Colorama.

Stelly Currie Designs

Designer

Stelly Currie is a designer known for fearless, statement-making fashion that fuses her unique imagination with high-voltage glamour. Born in Indonesia and raised in a home surrounded by fabric, rhythm, and creativity, Stelly was sketching dresses before she could even spell the word “couture.”

With a mother who worked as a tailor and a voice that could fill a room, she grew up dreaming of runways while singing on stages, expressing herself through both music and design.

Her work moves effortlessly from inky blacks to saturated jewel tones and liquid metallics, pairing dramatic silhouettes with tactile details, hand beading, sculpted shapes, and unexpected textures. Bold and beautiful by design, each piece is unapologetically expressive and proudly out of the ordinary, crafted for individuals who want to be seen.

From childhood dream to catwalk reality, Stelly’s collections celebrate imagination, individuality, and the art of dressing with intent, because for her, fashion isn’t just style. It’s a voice.

ZENAIDA

Founder and Creative Director - Eunice Ocampo

I am a creative and expérienced fashion stylist with a passion for understanding individual needs and wants that elevate confidence and style. I specialise in personalised consultation, wardrobe revamps, and selecting outfits and accessories that perfectly suit customer/client’s preferences and lifestyles.

Over the years of working as a stylist, I have observed how it was a struggle to express individual’s style it has inspired me to create something adaptable. Often times encountering new things/designs can be overwhelming but understanding familiar aspects first helps bridge gap to grasp new style. People will more likely to adapt easily as we all tend to seek out the new within the context of what is already known and understood and that’s why I wanted to show case a twist on classic and traditional design.

My goal is to provide sense of comfort and something predictable while offering something new and exciting. To empower individuals to confidently express their unique identities through fashion and to elevate minimalist style with our curated collection of timeless essentials. Familiar but different. I want to blend style with comfort, fostering a love of style and individual expression that my grandmother, Zenaida has embodied in me. So, Darwin Zenaida is my gift to you.
